Who are we? Founded in 2007, The Phenoms Youth Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization promoting education and amateur basketball for youth. The program is designed to provide role models and support for latchkey youth in rural areas.

What do we do? The NW Select Basketball Program not only trains these youth to be athletes but productive students in our society by teaching them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and giving back to the community. As education is our primary focus for our youth.

Why do we do it? We do it for our youth! Keeping these kids active, stimulating their minds and showing them how to channel their emotions is part of breaking the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse in our teens. It is our hope and dream that these young men gain a sense of focus and direction.

How can you help? As a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of helping youth boys grow and develop into young men, athletes, and students; The Phenoms Youth Foundation depends upon the donations and sponsorships from the community. The average cost per team per year runs about $8000. Expenses includes tournament fees, practice facilities, uniforms, training equipment, and traveling cost.

When should you help? Today! --- Remember as a community advocate once said: “no one can do everything, but everyone can do something.”

Interesting Facts! In 2009 & 2010 9 out of the 11 students who participated in the The Phenoms Youth Foundation and were seniors in high school have continued to college to further their education! 6 of those students received athletic scholarships to college.

Interesting Facts! All coaches and helpers are strictly voluntary. None of the coaches or helpers are paid any money or salary.
